About
Offline Arcade started as a shared notebook between three friends who kept losing signal on their commutes. We were tired of downloading a game only to find it demanded a constant connection just to load a menu, so we began keeping a list of titles that actually respected our time and our data plan.,The idea is simple. Someone on the team plays a game for at least a few evenings, takes notes, then we argue about it. If it holds up offline and still feels good after the novelty wears off, it gets a review. If it nags you for a connection every five minutes, it doesn't make the cut.,We pick games across genres on purpose. Not everyone wants a forty-hour RPG, and not everyone wants a two-minute puzzle. So we mix things up: role-playing adventures, strategy, racing, simulators and quiet little brain games you can put down mid-level.,Nobody here gets paid by a studio to say nice things. We buy or download the games ourselves, and when we don't like something we say so. The whole point is that you can trust the shortlist.
