Tide Command

Tide Command drops you on a scattered archipelago and asks you to grow a maritime power from a single fishing dock. It's a slower, more thoughtful strategy game — you plan routes, watch storms roll in and decide whether to expand or fortify.

The AI opponents play a patient game, so rushing rarely works. We had our best runs when we invested early in lighthouses and supply lines rather than warships. Battles resolve quickly, which keeps sessions moving even when the map gets large.

Everything is offline and there's no timer pressure pushing you to keep the app open. That alone makes it a favorite for long stretches without signal.
