Three simulators for switching your brain off
After a long day I don't want a game that demands reflexes. I want to tend a farm, arrange a shop, or slowly build something and watch it grow. Simulators are perfect for that, especially the offline kind with no energy meters.
Harvest Corner is my current comfort pick. There's no failure state to speak of, just steady progress and a satisfying seasonal loop. It saves instantly, so I can play in three-minute bursts.
The trick with these games is to ignore anything that pushes urgency. The good ones let you play at your own pace, and that's exactly why they relax rather than stress you out.
